This project is an initiative supported by the Greater Victoria NatureHood to have the Greater Victoria area nominated as a designated Urban Biosphere Region by UNESCO. Victoria's biological diversity, sustainable development, educational infrastructure, and commitment to reconciliation makes it a prime candidate for this designation.
